Deccan Chronicle spoke to the young officer. She said that "going by the Covid situation all over, and especially the seriousness at Malavalli, with 10 cases up to now, we realized that even if it's a simple marriage, we would have to gather at least 100 people which isn't safe." We decided to put off our wedding" she stated.

"We were able to convince our families as well. She added that once the lockdown has been lifted, we'll choose the date of our wedding."

It's Pruthvi's debut post after she completed her police academy training during the Karnataka Police Academy in Mysuru in October, 2019. She is currently the director of KPA and also IGP Southern Range.

She also received the award to be the best Lady Probationer in Outdoor during the KPA passing out parade in October of 2019.

Pruthvi was an undergraduate student who managed to finish her BE in Electronics and Electricals in Mysur at the GSSS institute in engineering. She was chosen to participate in KAS examinations in 2017. In October, 2019 she was named DySP Malavalli subdivision of the Mandya district.

Dyamappa Airani is Dyamappa's fiancé and currently serves as the deputy commissioner for Customs and GST, Bengaluru.
